U.S. Exchange Program Alumna of the Month
Over the last 60 years, thousands of UK citizens have traveled to the United States on exchange programs sponsored by the American Embassy in London.
This September’s Alumna of the Month is Shazia Awan, former director
of the NGO “Religions for Peace.” Shazia traveled to the U.S. on the International Visitor Leadership Program this past January to participate in an exchange on religion and community activism.
