The DS-160 Confirmation Sheet

Once completed, the information in the DS-160 will be electronically transmitted to the post where you will apply for the visa and you will receive a confirmation sheet which you are required to print and present with your visa application. See the following example:

If the photo you upload is not accepted as suitable you will be given the option to continue without a photo. In that instance your confirmation sheet will look like the following:

Please note that if you are unable to upload a photograph you will be required to bring with you to the interview a photograph which meets with Department of State specifictions. If you are successful in uploading the photograph but it does not meet Department of State specifications, you will be asked to return at a later date with a new photograph.
