Passport Services
The U.S. Consulate General Belfast provides passport services for residents of Northern Ireland.
If you are a resident of Northern Ireland, You may submit the following applications by mail to the U.S. Consulate General Belfast: Adult Passport Renewal, Name Change through Marriage, Request for Additional Passport Pages, Renewal of a Temporary Emergency Passport, Request for a Second Passport. For further information on the application process for any of the above services, refer to Passport Services by Mail.
All other passport applications MUST be submitted in person at a pre-scheduled appointment. If you are a resident of Northern Ireland, refer to Passport Services in Person for information on the application and appointment booking process for the following services: Minor Passport Renewal, Replacing a Lost/Stolen/Damaged Passport, Adult Passport Renewal if the most recent passport was issued while the applicant was under 16 or if the most recent passport was issued 15+ years ago, Name Change other than through Marriage.
