Foreign Military Sales Training Initiatives

A responsibility of the ODC is the management and coordination of the FMS Training Program. This includes development of UK FMS training programs in coordination with U.K. Ministry of Defence, British Defence Staff, and U.S. Military Departments. In addition, the ODC publishes all Invitational Travel Orders for U.K. students as well as manages and coordinates all FMS training purchased by the United Kingdom.

HOW TO REQUEST A TRAINING CASE

1. Initial request for Training Cases should be sent to UKDPO
   
2. UKDPO will raise a LOR and send to appropriate implementing agency in U.S. DoD
   
3. IA will process LOA through Training Command and return to UKDPO
   
4. UKDPO, following receipt of financially endorsed requisition from sponsor, will sign LOA
