Satterfield   Ambassador David Satterfield, Senior Advisor to the Secretary of State and Coordinator for Iraq, discussed recent developments in Iraq at a June 26 press briefing at the Foreign Press Association in London, in which he described Iraq as "a dynamic country...experiencing considerable and significant transformation and evolution, the consequence of the last 18 months of steadily diminishing violence, progressive security, progressive stabilization."

Catherine Witherspoon talks to Jock Whittlesey, the Environment Counselor at the American Embassy in London on California's work on climate change. Catherine Witherspoon is currently a consultant on climate change and environmental governance issues. Previously, she was the Executive Officer of the California Air Resources Board (CARB), where she managed a staff of 1,000 and an annual budget of $350M.

04 February 2008 U.S. Embassy screens J'ai Ete au Bal (I Went To The Dance)  Mardi Gras marched into the Embassy on February 4 when the Cultural Section hosted an evening of celebration of Cajun and Creole culture with a screening of Les Blank’s documentary, "J’ai été au bal."
