The Edinburgh Consulate provides non-emergency services by appointment only. Please select the service from the menu at the left side of this page. Appointments are scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday mornings except in emergencies. If you arrive at the Consulate without an appointment for non-emergency services you may be turned away.

Please Note February 1st Change in Opening Hours
As of February 1, 2010 the Consulate's public hours will be from 9 AM to 1 PM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We will no longer be open to the public on Thursdays. Thank you for making a note of this change.

The Consulate will be closed to the public on Monday, February 15, 2010 For Presidents Day Holiday

Note that public restrooms are not available in the U.S. Consulate. The nearest public restrooms are located at the corner of London Road and Easter Road.

The Consulate is closed to the public on American and Scottish holidays.
