Ambassador Robert Tuttle visits Kent

At the invitation of the British Association for American Studies (BAAS), on Friday, April 21 Ambassador Tuttle presented several U.S. Embassy-sponsored awards at the 51st annual BAAS conference held this year at the University of Kent in Canterbury. While in Kent, Ambassador Tuttle was also hosted for lunch and a tour at historic Leeds Castle and for a tour of emergency services operations at the Channel Tunnel courtesy of the Kent Police and Assistant Chief Constable Adrian Leppard. Ambassador Tuttle also had the honor of paying a call on the Very Reverend Robert Willis, Dean of Canterbury Cathedral.
