Ambassador and Mrs Tuttle Visit Tyne & Wear

Ambassador and Mrs. Tuttle traveled to Tyne & Wear for a two-day visit November 16-17. Sunderland City Council hosted Ambassador & Mrs. Tuttle at Washington Old Hall. The Ambassador planted a cherry tree before meeting with Sunderland civic and business leaders. The Ambassador met with the British American Chamber of Commerce before addressing the North East Chamber of Commerce at its Annual Dinner. On Day Two, Newcastle City Council, One NorthEast, and other organizations discussed the development of the region with the Ambassador. Ambassador and Mrs. Tuttle visited Heaton Manor School, where they met with Post-16 students. Following a stop at the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, the day ended at Newcastle University. There Ambassador & Mrs. Tuttle met with students, staff, and local Members of Parliament.
