What happens if I encouter a problem in completing the DS-160 and turn up for the interview without it?

If you are applying for a petition based visa – H, L, O, P, Q, or R - you are required to complete the DS-160. If you appear for an interview without it, you will be asked return to the Embassy with the completed form. For all other nonimmigrant visa applicants, the form DS-160 is required if applying for a visa either in person or through the courier service from March 1 onwards.
We strongly recommend that you do not wait until the last minute to complete this form as you may encounter problems with your internet connection.
