I have read about the confirmation sheet, but cannot complete the form to know what it should look like!

The above are examples of the confirmation sheets. If you are successful in uploading you photograph your confirmation sheet will look like the example on the left. If you are unsuccessful in uploading the photograph you will receive a confirmation sheet that will look like the example on the right. If you are unsuccessful in uploading a photograph, you will be required to bring one with you to the visa interview. Please ensure that the photograph meets Department of State specifications and that it was taken within the last six months. If the photograph is unacceptable, we will not be able to process your application and you will be required to reschedule the interview.

Do a SEVIS ID is requiered to complete DS-160 form? What SEVIS ID means?
How can I get information about it and about my individual number?
I am a 70 y/o venezuelan citizen.

Alberto – the SEVIS fee is only payable by applicants for student and exchange visitor visas. If you are applying for an F, M, or J visa, you are required to register with SEVIS and pay a fee. If you are applying for any other type of visa, you are not required to pay a SEVIS fee.
i tried many time to click the sign and submit but it didnt go through i dont whats the problem pls. help i have interview this june 11, 2010 but still i havent complete my application. thanks in advance
We are not aware of any specific issues with the DS-160 at this time. If you are experiencing problems in completing the form and are unable to complete it in time for the visa interview, you will be required to reschedule the appointment. We regret that we cannot accept a visa application unless the applicant has completed the DS-160 ahead of the interview and is in possession of the confirmation page of the DS-160 on the day.

I have exactly the same problem, I filled the form, couldn’t upload the photo, and when I try to click on sign to finish it just doesn’t go, it’s unclickable. I tried with two different browsers, safari and firefox, still desn’t work.
My appointment is schedueled on 9th (tomorrow). Is rescedueling the appointment the only posibility you’re offering? Could it be a problem within the system!?

US university offered to me Fellowship.university fees and other all expenses will cover from this fellowship. They sent me offering letter.
Does a SEVIS ID is required to complete DS-160 Form? I have to go 25th August. Is it enough time to complete requirements and interview. I am a Sri Lankan.

Anusha – if you will apply for an F, M, J or Q visa, you are required to pay a SEVIS fee before you attend an interview at the Embassy. When completing the DS-160, you are requested to provide your SEVIS ID number. You should therefore pay the SEVIS fee before you complete the DS-160.

I completed my DS160 form, and printed it off, but the information thats supposed to be on my third page isnt there. i am sure i checked everything was there before i printed it off.
i didnt save it to a usb or cd.
am i ok to complete another form? even thou i have already submitted an application.
Laura – If you have filed the Form DS-160 incorrectly, you must complete a new form. Please ensure that you bring the confirmation sheet to the visa interview that relates to the correct application.
