I have just found a website that is charging a fee to register for DV-2011. Will this increase my chances if I register through this website?

There is only one official U.S. government website for the DV-Program and that is http://www.dvlottery.state.gov. There are many websites advertising their services and making claims that they can increase an applicants changes of being slected for the Program. Any intermediaries or others who offer their services or assistance to prepare DV entries do so without the authority or consent of the U.S. government. The U.S. government employes no outside consultants or private services to operate the DV Program. There is ony one official website and that is http://www.dvlottery.state.gov. Remember, the U.S. government does not charge a fee to register for the DV Program. Anyone who is, is not operating on behalf of the U.S. government.
