    Hello,

My partner has been in jail for a drugs offence i was wondering would we still be able to visit New York? if anyone has any information that would be helpfull.

    Kind Regards

Chloe- If your partner has a conviction, even if it is considered spent under UK law, he will require a visa in order to travel to the United States. Your partner is not eligible to travel visa free under the Visa Waiver Program. Information about applying for a visa is available from the Embassy website at: http://london.usembassy.gov/nonimmigrant-visas.html

    Good evening,

My wife and I applied for ESTA Registration in August to holiday in Florida.
We are intending visiting our son who lives in Houston Texas in April.
Do we need to apply again – and unfortunately we have lost the originals. My wife’s name is Elizabeth Ann Lawson and as you can see I am David Lawson.
Thank you if you can assist David

David– provided you and your wife have valid ESTA registrations, you are not required to carry the registration numbers with you when traveling. An ESTA is valid for 2 years, or until your passport expires, whichever is sooner.

Hello, I have visited the USA six times over a period of ten years. On the last three occasions I have been subjected to secondary screening at immigration but have always been allowed to enter the country for my vacation.
Last October (2010) I was rejected by the ESTA Program and contacted the TRIP (ref 2115184) for redress on my situation. Although my status shows they have received my details I have not heard from anyone regarding this matter and any emails I send to them go unanswered.
Surely three months should be enough time to sort this out.
Please tell me if you have any thoughts on this matter.
