My passport accidentally ended up in the washing machine and is badly damaged, especially the page containing my visa. Can I still use the passport and will the visa be valid for travel to the United States?
If your passport is damaged in anyway, it cannot be used for travel to the United States even if the visa is still in tact. You will be required to obtain a new passport and if the visa is damaged, a new visa.
